I have just received the two Mitropoulos CDs along with a Special Edition
CD issued by ORFEO and given as a present to the buyers of the Complete
Catalogue of the Salzburg Festspiele 2000.  This Cd includes only works
by J.S. Bach as follows:

conducting the Concertgebouw Orchestra on 10 Aug 58

2. Fantasia & Fugue BWV 542 with Mitropoulos conducting the Vienna
Philharmonic Orch. on 24 Aug 58

3. Partita I for violin BWV 1002 with Milstein on 06 Aug 56

4. Partita II for piano BWV 826 with Anda on 15 Aug 72

5. Agnus Dei & Dona Nobis Pacem from Messe BWV 232 with Christa Ludwig and
Karajan conducting the Vienna Philharmonic Orch. on 20 Aug 61.

A truly magnificient CD. Don't you agree?
