Many critics say that this video production from DG is a fine performance,
one of the best ever recorded. By the way, those who saw the film "Karajan
in Salzburg" will remember that Karajan was working on another Verdi's
Requiem, probably to be released on Laser Disc. A short passage of the
film shows Carreras singing the Ingemisco. I know that Carreras once
recorded the part with Karajan (DG Karajan Gold), but what about the Laser
Disc? Do listers have any information about this? And what about Abbado's
performance with the London Symphony Orchestra on video (Margareth Price,
Jessye Norman, Jose Carreras, Ruggero Raimondi)?
