Rafael Kubelik was once married to Elsie Morison who sang in his Mahler 4.
I don't know about Edith Mathis who sang in his Mahler 2 and Mahler 8.  I
don't know the Kubelik Midsummer Night's Dream recording, but I wouldn't
hesitate to gamble on it.  In fact, I have another new (for me) Kubelik
recording on right now that's wonderful--his Weber Freischeutz (sp?) with
Bavarian Radio & Co.
