Certainly not the first nor last time such a marketing gimmick has been
attempted (wasn't there a well-built pianist who posed with his shirt off
for a cover some years back?) The marketing of classical music has taken a
nose dive in worse ways - whether selling Mozart as an IQ booster or the
proliferation of canned anthologies in the "Music for your Moods" vein -
Classical as ambience music - "Hey, it's Beethoven as George Winston!"
Expect worse if sales of classical CDs continue to lose market share.
