Vilaas Shetty asks:

>Any suggestions for which [volin concertos] to listen to?

The Barber, Prokoviev and Bartok concertos. While "modern", they are very
lyrical and "accessible", and may offer you a gateway into the other works
of these composers.

There is a new set of the Saint Saens concertos released on Hyperion, which
I don't know yet, but based on the widely positive response, I intend to
investigate.
