I don't know Goode's early sonatas, but wasn't overimpresed by his
late ones.

My absolute favourite stero cycle is by Claude Frank recorded in the
70s and reissued on CD by Music & Arts at a special price.

IMHO his (e.g.) Op.109 ranks with Schnabel's - and if you can take
1930s mono sound you really should also have Schnabel.
