Can't say I agree.  My favourite recording is the one made live at the
Last Night of the 100th Season of the Proms (1994) BBC SO/Andrew Davis.
Whatever his faults may be AD is a great choral conductor.

I also remember several great Flash-led performances at the Proms in the
1960s - be nice to have one of those on disc.
