The only Mehtas I own are because there were no alternative versions.
I like his Schmidt 4th more than Jarvi's but you have to buy the average
Mahler 2nd it's coupled with to get it.  I haven't heard Franz W-M's
version.  If they're still available, his New World CDs of the Paine
symphonies are well worth investigating.
