Holidays have kept me away from the list for a while, but just to let
you know, the September issue of International Record Review should have
arrived in all the usual retail outlets throughout the world by the time
you read this.

Feature articles/reviews include a James MacMillan profile by David
Fanning, Mahler and Bernstein - a meeting of minds by Robert Matthew-Walker
(with complete discography), Reynaldo Hahn - the complete recordings on CD
by Patrick O'Connor and an extensive DVD roundup by Julian Haylock.  As
usual the magazine is packed with reviews.

Stateside list members may be interested to know that IRR is now becoming
available in many smaller cities throughout the country.  If you would like
