I heard him live this Saturday together with the Danish Radio Symphony Orch
adn Thomas Dausgaard The y played the Emperor Concerto I enjoyed it but it
didn't impress me.  I found his tone rather "thin" A friend of mine thought
it sounded more like something valid in Mozart (or perhaps Haydn).

After lots of applause he played a short piece that I recognised but I
don't know what it is.  My guess is Janacek.  That was very beautifully
played.
