The work in question is indeed both masterpiece and miscalculation.
That is the message of quantum mechanics.  So on some occasions it
will be heard as a masterpiece and on others as a miscalculation.
The probabilities of these outcomes are a squared and b squared
respectively.  Remember your school quantum mechanics!!!
