Great balls of fire, YES!  He's a non-composer who writes non-music.  The
3rd Symphony is the best of a bad lot.  We found ourselve sin the midst
of a Gorecki festival in London once, for which they had even imported
him.  All I can recall of the entire thing is that it was an evening of
ghastliness to which we went because we were taken by friends who were
friends of the conductor.  Blessed memory lapes has occurred since.
