80th Birthday Lunchtime Concert Appeal

The chance has arisen to hold a concert/recital featuring members of the
Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra in the afternoon of the Birthday
Concert in Northampton UK on the evening of 21st October.  Naturally this
project needs financing and your help is sought by way of contribution
(minimum 10 [$20]) to raise the necessary funds to go ahead.  In return
each contributor will receive one free ticket to this recital and the
opportunity to meet the evening's conductor, Douglas Bostock, who will be
signing copies of the CD featuring music from the evening's Birthday
concert.  Please help even though you may not be attending.

The evening concert at the Derngate Theatre will include Beckus, Trumpet
concerto, Inn of Sixth happiness, Cornish Dances and  Symphony 2

Malcolm Arnold will be BBC Composer of the Week Oct 15-19 when the BBC
Philharmonic conducted by  Rumon Gamba will be playing all the symphonies.
