Has anyone ever heard The Mother by Alois Haba? If so could you explain why
it was considered avant garde when in fact it sounds more normal than works
by Gabriel von Wayditch or Havergal Brian.  Yes, i know about the quarter
tone notes but it still doesn't seem as weird as the works by
aforementioned composers.
