Lot's of physicists show signs now and then,of wanting to be Einstein.
Now, for the first time, I see that at least one (fictional of course!!)
composer wants to be Beethoven.

I wonder if Lew can somehow find the self discipline to alter his behavior
in ways that don't compromise his core beliefs.  Or is he so self indulgent
and self righteous that any change is perceived as a sell-out? I remember
reading a quotation from George Bernard Shaw - what is this fuss about
losing your soul, he asked - I do it a couple of times a day.
