Sad news indeed.  I have enjoyed all of the Bruckner recordings that he had
made recently.

Those of us in the States can take comfort in the fact that his reocording
of Bruckner #9 is now available in the UK and should arrive Stateside soon.

Upon hearing this, I opted to listen to Tintner's recording of Bruckner's
Fifth Symphony last night.
