Access of Windows Office is a fine tool for anyone with a smattering of
database design theory, but a path to disaster for a beginner in this
field. I earn my living in this field, but my CD collection database
is far from perfect. It is so clunky that I won't let my wife try to
use it for fear of damage to what is already there.

And yet I have some very useful database systems operating on my client
sites. There seems to be no time to tidy my own playpen.
