Just wanted to add two things.  The "new" tuning system is attributed
to Bradley Lehman, an early music scholar and keyboard artist.  Second,
in addition to the Watchorn recording, Richard Egarr also uses this
tuning system in his Harmonia Mundi recording of Bach's Goldberg Variations.
