Ron Chaplin asked for recording recommendations.  I think there are quite a
few excellent versions including Zimerman on DG, Jacobs on Nonesuch, Matin
Jones on Nimbus, Gieseking on EMI, Immerseel on Channel Classics (Book 1),
and Liva Rev on Hyperion (Book 2).

Sifting through the above versions, the three I'd hate to part with would be
the Immerseel (love that period piano), Gieseking (the master of this work),
and Jones (Nimbus piano sound).  I thank the list for recommending the
Gieseking to me some time ago.
