As I was going through a stack of records this morning I encountered
a disc by a "folk singer" named Orriel Smith.  While I have looked at
many records in my lifetime, I did not recall ever having encountered her
name before.  So, out of curiosity I typed her name in my favorite search
engine and came up with

For those of you old timers on this list, you might recall my review of
Mary Schneider's "Yodeling the Classics." Well, there is now a companion
discs, "Orriel Smith-The world's Favorite Cluckoratura Arias." According
to the listing, it has a copyright of 2003.  Am I the only one who has
missed this one?
