Ray Bayles wrote about Telarc recordings:

I have limited experience with Telarc. I looked through my entire
collection and only found one disc. Originally, while following this
thread, I was under the impression that Teldec was being discussed and I
have had great experience with their label. My only disc on the Telarc
label contains Brahms' string quartets Op. 51 (along with Haydn's Op.76,
my favorite quartets of all) in a performance by the Cleveland Quartet.
I happen to love this performance but I have not heard many different
recordings of the work. Being the fanatical Brahms-lover that I am I would
be interested if any list members have a favorite recording of the Brahms
string quartets.
