Music Kitchen Food for the Soul Presents Pianist Roy Eaton in Concert
for New York City Homeless on January 24

Music Kitchen Food for the Soul will present pianist Roy Eaton in a
concert for New York City's homeless on Wednesday, January 24 - 7:30 PM
at Holy Trinity Shelter - 65th St.  and Central Park West in Manhattan.

Mr.  Eaton's repertoire for this concert will be taken from his latest
album "Keyboard Classics for Children," which includes selections by
Mozart, Bach, Debussy, Scott Joplin, Roy Eaton and many others.  Much

Roy Eaton, winner of the first Kosciuszko Foundation Chopin Award in
June 1950, made his American debut with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra
performing Chopin's F minor Concerto under George Schick in 1951.  He
was re-engaged to perform Beethoven's 4th concerto the following season,
and also made his New York Town Hall debut in 1952.  He is currently on
the faculty of the Manhattan School of Music.  In addition to his renowned
Chopin interpretations, his performances of the music of Scott Joplin

musicians together to share the inspirational, therapeutic, evocative
and uplifting power of chamber music with New York City's disenfranchised
