Just for laughs, you might consider a couple of genuine novelizations:
"Beethoven" by Emil Ludwig, who wrote many fictionalized biographies
of famous people, and the highly Romanticised "John Christopher" ("Jean
kristof") by the great French Romantic writer Romain Roland, which is
more or less based on the life of LvB.
