Is film music really incidental music? I was rather of the impression that
'incidental' meant something more like 'programmatic, but not really for
a particular occasion', like a performance of a play.  Once you play it at
the play (sorry for the play on words) it is no longer 'incidental'? Or do
I have it all back-asswards?
