Don't know the Kubelik, but I like Boulez best--very powerful.  I also like
Ozawa (gasp) for a more opulent, lush, and more colorful view.  And I have
a soft spot for Ferenscink (sp) on EMI, maybe because it has Alexander
Young, Janet Baker and a tenor I always liked even near the end of the
year, Julius Patzak.  I haven't heard it in a while:  maybe I'd feel
different now.
