Any Opinions on the Dartington Piano trio? They have recorded on the
Hyperion label.

I heard them here in Bristol on the 10th. They played Haydn, d minor (Hob
XV:23) and Dvorak, f minor (op 65). I enjoyed both works, and especially
the Haydn trio. Dvorak was equally fine, except for the first movement
which was a bit lengthy and structurally weak. Dvorak goes Brahms but with
less success. The weak member of the group was the violinist (if any).
