I started collecting LPs just about when they first came out.  A Mozart
symphony was typically two sides, although it was sometimes two sides of a
10" LP.  When I saw a Mercury LP w/ Mozart's 41st Symphony on one side and
his 39th on the other, the bargain, at Sam Goody's discounted price, was
too good not to snap up.  It turned out to be w/ Rosbaud conducting, I
think, the Bavarian State Radio Orchestra and in no way a mere cut rate
performance.
