Hello!

It was a great concert the one of yesterday in the Athens Concert Hall with
the Staatskapelle Dresden under Sir Colin Davis.

The Program: Haydn 88, Beethoven Piano Cto Nr.1 (with John Vakarelis) and
Mozart's Nr. 38 (Prager).

The orchestra, of course, was "at home" with such a repertoire! Sir
Colin Davis was fast and passionate (oh yes!) although a little bit
agressive in Mozart's 1st movement.

A wonderful experience.

Next concert in Athens is Gergiev+Kirov Orchestra for two evenings in April:
a. La Mer, Poem of Exstasy and Prokofiev 5th
b. Mahler 6th

That's all from Athens

Best wishes

Alexandros Rigas
