Hey guys, I've just joined the list, also on the recommendation of Linda
from the Musiclassical list at ONElist.  I thought I'd introduce myself as
a first post.  My name is Maria Holub, and I'm an 18-year-old, second-year
voice major in the music program at the University of Alberta in Western
Canada.  When I'm done, I'd like to sing opera professionally, but I love
all kinds of classical (and even some kinds of non-classical) music.  Aside
from my singing, I also play the piano, violin, and flute, and I act with
a local community theatre company of which I am on the board of directors.
That's about all I can think of to say about me, so I look forward to
participating in list discussions.
