"Hybrid SACDs" can be played on normal CD-players as well as on dedicated
SACD-players.  Non-hybrid SACDs (I believe designated "SACD") can be
played on dedicated SACD-players only.

Every now and then, hybrid-SACDs do make problems on normal CD-players,
I believe this is restricted to very few ones, notable very old and very
expensive gear.
