This morning I heard, on the radio, part of a performance of Max Bruch's
oratorio, "Moses", a not terribly engaging piece conducted by Claus-Peter
Flor. The part of Aaron was sung by a tenor new to me, Robert Gamble (and
I suppose the name could be 'Gumbel', or even 'Gimpel'; I'm not quite sure
and I only heard the name once).

This singer sounds like he might have the makings of a real heldentenor.
Does anyone know him, of him?
