Ron Chaplin complained of an intermittent buzzing noise in his Nielsen
Op 14 Quartet on Naxos. I checked the first movement and heard some
extraneous sounds at eg 4:15, 4:25, 5:49 but not enough to be major
distractions. I wouldn't describe the sound as buzzing but as the
recording location was the parish church at Ris, Norway in April, I suspect
the sound is whatever is the Norwegian equivalent of the first cuckoo in
spring in the church's roof.
