In general, I'd agree.  De Larrocha's exuberance and technical security
are evident in her recordings.  Riva is probably her equal technically,
and his approach is a bit more introspective; certainly it is more
analytical.  I like that approach, having played many of these pieces
myself, because it points up that Granados was not just Spanish flash;
much of his music has real meat on its bones.
