Naxos and BBC have joined to publish the Queen's Jubilee concerts (both
the classical and the pop evenings) on DVDs and VHS tapes.

What's interesting about the news is the timing - the recordings will be
distributed in less than a month. The concerts concluding only last night
will be available in stores on July 2. The classical concert - carried in
the US on PBS - featured the BBC Symphony, conducted by Andrew Davis, Kiri
te Kanawa, Thomas Allen, Roberto Alagna, Angela Gheorghiu, and Mstislav
Rostropovich.

BBC will donate its share of the proceeds to the Queen Elizabeth II Golden
Jubilee Trust.
