The fact that a piece of music is based on 12 tones doesn't define
it, and doesn't even says much about it.  There are countless musical
physiognomies inside the"12 tone music" category, so many that the reason
why I find gratifying some Webern may not be the same (by far) why I
find beautiful some Berg.  It's just a matter of getting accustomed,
and doesn't take too long.  There was a time when I didn't like even
Stravinsky's "Rite..."., and fortunately for me, that changed.

I think that this equivalence is not always inmediate.  In some cases
one may recognize the expresiveness of certain music before "accepting"
its beauty.  First, you acknowledge, then you are gained.
