Actually Bartok's title "Music for Strings, Percussion, and Celeste"
(where the latter (which is, strictly speaking, a percussion instrument)
gets billing totally out of proportion to its role in the music) begs the
question as to whether the piano is stringed or percussive.  Some of those
"Bartok pizzicati" take the violins, etc., into the realm of percussion as
well.
