James Kearney has provided us the "answer", and it isn't a pretty scenario.
I suppose it's an example of art being slammed by the realities of life.
Still, it sounds so perverse that the first performance of a new work
wouldn't even be in its entirety.  What's more important here - art or
religious ritual?
