No one has mentioned them and it would be a mistake to dismiss the
recordings made by Saperton in the 1950s, now available on CD.  These were
one of his specialities and his playing is revelatory and an thoroughly
musical; he was Godowsky's son-in-law.  It would be interesting to know
if Hamelin has listened to them.
