I have great respect for Elvis Mitchell and one must remember that David
Lynch was heading the Palme D'Or Committee.  Lynch is known for his offbeat
senses, so I offer another grain of salt.  As well, Sharon Stone is also on
the committee and The Pianist is a politically correct film to honour in
Frankreich right (no pun intended) about now.
