   A recent compact disc from Vienna Modern Masters (VMM) features the
   world premiere recording of the Concerto for Trombone and Orchestra
   by Metroplex composer Aaron Rabushka. This disc, #VMM-3052 in the
   series Music from Six Continents, is the seventh VMM CD to feature
   Rabushka's work. The disc also includes Betty Beath's austerely
   poignant Lament for Kosovo; David Featherolf's El Dia de Los Muertos,
   a work for orchestra and chorus that explores the confluence of
   Spanish Christian and Native American cultures and spiritualities;
   and David Patterson's rollicking tribute in sound to VICTOR BORGE
   called Cheap Trills.
