Yes indeed!  He is at present the principal flutist for the Berlin
Philharmonic.  According to an interview in Gramophone, unless I read it
wrong, he is planning to leave that gig soon.  Anyone know for sure? He
is a wonderful player with a lovely sound.  I have heard his disc of the
concerti by the brothers Haydn and his Mozart flute 4-tets and have enjoyed
them immensely.
