Most likely it's the Cossack Dance or Gopak from Act I of his opera
'Mazepa', but it could just possibly be from Act III of the opera
'Cherevichki'.

If it has a four-bar introduction with the strings alone playing a
repeated rhythmical figure, then that sounds like the Gopak from Mazepa.
