For anyone interested in light romantic classics on the violin, I
wholeheartedly recommend Gil Shaham's "Violin Romances".  He does a
great job with all of them; here they are:

1. Salut D'amour - Edward Elgar
2. Schon Rosmarin - Fritz Kreisler
3. Romance In G Major, Op.26 - Johan Svendsen
4. Liebesfreud - Fritz Kreisler
5. Romance No. 1 In G Major, Op.40 - Beethoven
6. Romance No. 2 In F Major, Op.50 - Beethoven
7. Liebesleid - Fritz Kreisler
8. Serenade Melancolique In B Minor,Op.26 - Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky
9. Romanza Andaluza Op.22 No.1 - Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky
10. Romance In F Minor,Op.11 - Antonin Dvorak

Some are accompanied on the piano, others by the Orpheus C.O., and very
nicely, too.
