What particularly caught my eye in the new IRR was Jonathan Carr's welcome
reassessment of the Kubelik Mahler cycle - a much underestimated enterprise
- and a download of Tony Duggan's view of the Zender Mahler VI.  Mahler
reviewing in IRR has been slack until now.  Good to see the pace picking
up.

As for the supposed objectivity of reviewers - well, that's a very tangled
subject.
