I think I've been reading every post on this thread, but if I didn't, did
one of the posts I missed mention the Ferrier/Patzak/Walter (VPO) recording
on London? If not, why has nobody mentioned it???

A relative latecomer to Mahler (and still not a full convert), I heard that
recording first and found it, especially Ferrier's interpretation, totally
enthralling.
