Yes, a wonderful piece - I had the pleasure of leading the LSO in the
British premiere (with Previn) and the recording (with Gergiev).  One
of her finest pieces I think, immensely powerful and superbly played
on every occasion my Anne-Sophie Mutter.

I do hope, Janos, that you'll be at Davies Hall for the LSO's visit next
week with Gergiev, I always enjoy your writing and would love to hear
your views.
