Just a day before the beginning of the SF Symphony subscription series
featuring Thomas Hampson in Mozart opera arias, Hampson cancelled (due
to illness), and he will be replaced by Michelle DeYoung, singing Wagner's
"Wesendonck Lieder." The Shostakovich Fifth Symphony (with MTT) remains on
the program.
