She was interviewed some years back on our public radio's "Desert Island
Disks" program, which I understand was similar to a program of almost
the same name in the UK. She seemed to have a lot of fun describing her
arrival in Britain from the Argentine as a bride, being taken under the
wing of one of her husband's female acquaintances, who would go out of her
way to casually mention, almost by inadvertence, that her clothes, and
hairdo, etc., were not in style, and capped it all off in a taxi ride to
some reception for which she prepared her by saying, "I suppose you know
that William has slept with all the women there, but I'm sure you won't
mind."
