Jim Tobin replies to me:

Truth to tell, I have no idea. I've heard only chamber music. However,
I enthusiastically recommend everything I've heard: Piano Trio; Viola
Sonata; Passacaglia on an Old English Tune; Prelude, Allegro, & Pastorale
for viola and clarinet; Two Pieces for viola and cello.

For those wanting to dip their toes, try the Piano Trio and Viola Sonata on
ASV CD DCA932, coupled with the Amy Beach Piano Quintet.
