Hi everyone

In the recent discussion on music for the viola, someone mentioned the
Bartok concerto. I was in Syracuse yesterday, and at Borders I came across
the Naxos CD. What a wonderful piece of music. My thanks to whoever it
was that mentioned it. I also picked up a Janacek piano disk (great music,
a lot of it was used in the film "The Unbearable Lightness of Being") and
a Faure "Requiem" on EMI budget, all fine recordings. Unfortunately, I
also bought the Naxos CD of Brahms Motets. This ones a turkey, my first
one ffrom Naxos. BTW, any oppinions on the late recording of the complete
Mahler Symphonies, by Bernstein on DG? BMG has the set at a budget price.
Thanks,

Bob Lyman
